"He gets it.
You could call Alexander Basquiat something of a rolling stone. As a long-term believer in the philosophy of "Home is where you park it," he's spent the last decade-plus climbing, chasing pow, and using the wild landscapes that serve as a backdrop to his adventures to fuel his artistic output. Xander is currently wintering here in SLC* in pursuit of snow (nice choice, we think) and has been drawing on his experience living and working in the wilderness to create killer art. " - January, 2016

*currently in Leavenworth, WA.

Growing up among the Cascade Mountains in Washington State Xander's passions from an early age were drawing and exploring wild places.  His experience as a Professional Guide, Wildland Firefighter, International Development Team Leader and Outdoor Behavioral Therapy Field Director has taken him to five continents yet he always returns home to the Pacific North West.
